Hey everyone, my name is Piratec and I am 15, I became interested in drones when I was 11 and it just went on from there. I got my first FPV racing drone when I was 12 and progressed more and more over time, getting better gear and skills. I love drone racing because, in the 60 seconds that it takes to finish that race, it’s just me and my drone, no one else, no pressures, none of the stuff that goes on at work or school, none of the things that get you down.

To be a team pilot for Custom Quads is pretty much a dream come true, since I started I thought how cool it would be to go to competitions and represent a company. Now thanks to Custom Quads, I can do that. Leonardo De Vinci says “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward…” this has been my favourite quote from the beginning, every flight, I fall more and more in love with the hobby, I have learnt so much, met new friends, fell along the way, but every time I get back up.
